Am I an Unix guy!!
Hmm, this was the question I was confronted with in today's training when I screwed up because of using Unix paths in windows, I couldn't answer this question, Because I really donno whether I am an Unix guy, I have worked more on windoze and NetWare compared to Unix based oses.
In my first project I was maintaining the product in windoze and it was pure Windoze development, Next project was a GUI based utility that on windoze, while working in this project for 2 months I was also maintaining the Linux server for our team to use and The next project was again a porting project but this time platform is NetWare, But here the exposure for Linux is more since the complete build happens on Linux.
This was my work, so Am I an Unix guy???
After couple of minutes of silence when he again asked me the same question again, I smiled and replied "Yes"

Two more is just too more
Junta, i name this year as the official Blogger year!! Add two more collegemate to the list...
ramble-mania.blogspot.com
ennizhal.blogspot.com
I just hope they dedicate one post in my name, for being their inspiration and all...now wait a minute, im beginning to think otherwise..... u guys didnt start a blog saying "if this stupid fellow can blog, then i can also blog", did u?! Just keep the posts coming.
Guys do u know what, Bala & me started a blog called CSERECT in the hope that all these people would start blogging. We invited everyone we knew(was even ready to give away free laptops!) but no one turned up. No one was willing to sniff the site even. And finally after what seemed like a year(but was only a month) and the site's hit-counter refusing to raise above 3 digits we blamed Vaasthu sashtra and decided to change the name & move here! Even today u can visit this site, but be careful, it is in terrible disrepair and i heard it is haunted by some ghost! It was Blogspot.com which offered us orphans a home and taught us all we know!! And one foremost thing it taught us was
Thou shalt not bullshit thy friends
...so i will stop here.
But the idea thrown is still open. Someone, pick up the gauntlet(one of the earliest phrases of english i learnt!).
US Trivia#2
Did u know that most of the hotels/motels in the USA has a Bible in their rooms? And do u know that u can take it with you (without any charge) when u checkout?
Joke time:
A Sardarji kidnapped a boy, wrote a message "Your son is with me, give me 100000 rupees as ransom tommorrow. Signed -Sardar", stuck it on the boy's school bag and sent him home.
The next day, our sardar finds the boy with the money he asked for ... and a note that read "How can u do it to a fellow sardar?"
